“In summary, the worship of the New Testament is spiritual, that is, it is the righteousness of faith in the heart and the fruits of faith.”

Apology of the Augsburg Confession, Article XXIV, Line 27

Welcome to Faith Lutheran Church

A Place For YOU!

No matter what your age is, no matter where you come from, no matter who you are, there is a place for you at FAITH.  You’ll meet a great mix of friendly people, hear relevant messages, enjoy compelling programs, and much more.  Come as you are, be who you are; you are apart of God’s family and - we have a place for you!

Music:

Adult & children's choir.

Youth:

With Ping-Pong, foosball, air-hockey, and a pool table offered, our kids stay entertained.  If that doesn't keep them occupied, they can watch DVD’s on one of our 2 color TV’s or play video games on our PSII.  At least once a month, our kids enjoy food, fun, and fellowship in our new gymnasium.  Additionally, servant events and field trips are common.

Elementary Education:

Through our sister church, (Redeemer) your children can receive a quality Christian education at Springfield Lutheran School [2852 S. Dayton Ave. (417)883-5717].  SLS offers Preschool - 8th Grade.  If you chose to send your children to SLS, FAITH offers tuition and financial assistance.

Seniors Group:

Our Senior of Faith meet monthly to share information, have fun, travel, listen to interesting speakers, have a picnic, or whatever the monthly sponsor for that month may arrange.  Food, fun, and fellowship!  They are always looking for additional participants.

Our core values are…

· God has commissioned His Church to make disciples of all nations and we respond to His love for us with an evangelistic love for bringing His Gospel to the lost. (Mt 28:18-20)

· God desires and, through His Holy Spirit, enables us to grow spiritually throughout our Christian lives. (2 Thes1:3-4)

· God has given to each believer gifts, and He desires that we contribute these to His ministry at FAITH. (Rom 12:6-8)

· God has called us to be a strong family in Christ.  This is the core of our congregation. (Gal 6:10, Gen 18:19)

· God has put us into relationships with one another and He desires that they be Christ-centered. (Rom 15:5-7)

Our Guiding Purpose:

Having received the Good News of our Salvation in Jesus Christ, our grateful response is to make disciples through meaningful worship, Christian education, and sharing that Good News with others.
