Open Arms Fellowship is a forming LCMS congregation in Ozark, Missouri.
Pastor Jim Bartok has been called, through Faith Lutheran Church in Springfield, in cooperation with the LCMS- Missouri District, to continue the development of this new church plant that was initiated through Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield.
The vision of Open Arms Fellowship is to gather a congregation of families and individuals in the Ozark, MO area around God’s Word and Sacraments for the purposes of salvation, worship, spiritual growth, fellowship, outreach, and service to the community in the name of Christ. This will primarily be accomplished through the operating of a Early Childhood Development Center that also serves as home base for the congregation.
The plan for the development of this new church has three tracks:
1) Establishing locations in Ozark where gatherings and worship services can be held on a regular basis.
2) Continuing the formation and encouragement of small groups (missional communities) in the Ozark area.
