​CROSSLINES MATH & READING BUDDY PROGRAMS connect caring adults with elementary students during the school day for one-on-one help in reading or math. Reading Buddy volunteers work with students in kindergarten through third grade once a week for 30 minutes, reading books, practicing words, and connecting through conversation. Math Buddy volunteers meet with first or second graders twice a week for 30 minutes, using games and hands-on activities to build foundational number skills. You don’t need to be an educator or have prior experience. Crosslines provides all the training and materials you’ll need to make a difference. Faith Lutheran is signed up to volunteer to help at Crosslines on the 3rd Tuesday of each month anytime between 8:30 AM and 2 PM. Their new location is 3055 East Division.
